They are simply a marketing company with great marketing, and the suppliers cannot keep up.  

We actually started by buying a manufactured home to practice on, start getting subs and suppliers figured out, etc. 

This can be done very quickly once you have the experience and the numbers form your contractors.The best way to do this is to talk with your contractors, vendors and suppliers and get actual costs from them so you can build a database of costs for each line item specific to your market and style of home.I have made a video as well discussing this very approach.

China is the main supplier since it was normally cheaper for them to sale in the US versus the cost of shipping back to China, versus building new.

I checked out Latitudes web site (nice stuff), but I haven't yet looked to see if they have a supplier/distributer in this area.

What if a supplier has a half-price sale on the items that you need?

I was working as a contractor, a product supplier and a publican in my spare time, and I thought, "I don't have enough on".

In my experience, drywall and paint are conflated in some markets and treated as different trades in other markets.When in doubt, it is easy to go materials suppliers (drywall specific, or paint specific, not the lumber yard that has a pile of drywall in the back).  

I do not like the way they "hang" their wall cabinets - on a rail.I will be renovating my own kitchen this year and most likely revisiting a couple other local kitchen cabinet suppliers.
