Hi All,I have been looking to construct a property in Houston, TX in the Richmond region.

Hey guys, I'm just starting out in the Houston area and have been looking for a flip house for a little over a month now in the Katy/Cypress area.

Donated hours are okay when you start out, but this property is going to be relying on them for a long time unless your rents take off like a rocket..If your goal is to build equity, just put money into a bank account. 

I'm located in Houston Texas.Those that have sold a home Owner financing what process did you go through?

Abbas:I am a retail leasing broker based in Philly, and have done work with three brokerage firms in the Houston market - Retail Solutions, JLL, and The Retail Connection - and have had good experiences with all three. 

Been working with several investors on flipping houses in the Houston/Dickinson Area where flooding was bad durring Harvey. 

I am currently out shopping for lenders to purchase my first rental property (looking to house hacking in a multifamily) in the Houston area.

It's not your tax files where you might clean them out after 10 years, they cannot be cleared out.If the HOA is out of compliance I would not buy into the unit and if there and they don't comply with your legitimate requests you'll likely have to sue them.BTW, I used to own a lot of property in Houston TX which has no zoning so everything was in an HOA, I've served on HOA boards and been president of HOAs twice including my current residence in CO.

Is it bad idea to invest in properties in Houston due to hurricanes and the high chance of flooding?
