It could be that the alarms are mounted within 12 inches or so of the ceiling on a wall, and all wires fished up from below (or from receptacles in the walls).

This way you are inching toward increases but not slapping a good tenant in the face.Also when I do rentals and they move in outside of the first of the month I just prorate the rent so they pay on the first.

They are looking for you to create a unit of measure for the permeable of the soil in MPI (minutes per inch) by filling the hole with 12-18" of water and after a certain time period measure the waters depth to see how much the ground has absorbed.

So its off to HD to get 1 1/4 inch screws.These screws seem to be the size used with every 4 in metal electric box in the nation, but aren't really the same at HD's #8-32s pan heads.
