Wired alarm installation
The village code requires wired alarms for each bedroom (this rental has four) & will need 2 combo (C02/smoke) in the halls.
I've called a couple electricians. This is a 1200 square foot SFH ranch built in 1960 on a 3.5' crawl. The electricians, without visiting the property yet (I don't close until next week) think it's going 3 days to do the this.
When I originally asked the village electric inspector how many hours he thought it would take, he thought 4-5 hours.
I find it hard to believe it would take 24 hours to wire 6 alarms?
