Does that make any more sense or did I butcher it even further? 

The butcher block counter would look really nice with the color scheme we are thinking, but are a little hesitant because of the increased maintenance, and our overall lack of knowledge about the product. 

I probably butchered it, but that's the general idea. 

So what if you're vegan and these people butcher their own cows (okay obviously irrelevant).

I have multiple loans with one bank and the guy I have spoken to 50 times still butchers my name and talks like he doesn't know who I am (and maybe he hasn't given any effort to learn).
