Know your comps, know your marketI bought the house for $500k knowing that I can put $50k of work into it and get an ARV (after repair value) of $600k based on comps that sold in the same neighborhood– I’m willing to put in the work to make this happen and can take my time since it’ll be my primary residence.As a house-hacker, you’re likely choosing a property based on one of your needs (close to work, near family, etc.).

We close on our first house-hack in a couple of weeks and will be renting out the rooms. What app do you recommend to screen for tenants and collect rent?

So it all depends on your leverage position.We have still been able to find cash flow on LTRs here in the Denver metro and surrounding areas, however, it usually involves a big value add, or buying a very poorly operated 5+ multifamily property where you aren't competing with homeowners or house hackers.

I am a 1st time house hacker and my tenants which were also teammates were signed to a lease from Aug of last year to July of this year.

Will anyone with access to the cloud storage open a malware email, thus giving hackers access?
