It's a big enough company to recognize it's in their best interest to stay on the right side of the law.

I also have 401k with 4,500 which I estimate will be 7,000 by the end of the year.Fund 1: 24kFund 2: 180k401k: 7k Right now, I am a renter that pays 900 per month, with a stay at home wife with a child on the way.

If long-term rentals don’t cash flow, short-term or mid-term rentals (Airbnb, traveling nurses, corporate stays) might work better.

I'd recommend staying within 10-15% of the median priced home because that's where the most demand will be not only for renters but owner occupants as well. 

I know you want to go full time and jump in, but I'd recommend staying with your day job as long as you can - it makes your life a lot more comfortable to have a steady stream of income to pay the bills every month!
