I presently have a negative cash flow  in all 3 properties but am more interested in paying off the mortgages early to reap rewards later.Any thoughts? 

If you are getting a good deal on a place and it is just a regular-style house, I would run numbers compared to AirDNA and Mashvisor's estimated revenue.

Its money well spent land development is high risk high reward.. depending on Jurisdiction.

It’s still relatively affordable compared to bigger cities, has strong rental demand, and no state income tax, which is always a plus.

There are HELOANS - at that juncture, your best bet is to evaluate what is called the blended rate and compare that to an entire new first lien (cash out).

It's always worth comparing rates and terms, as some lenders might be more aggressive with loan-to-value ratios, depending on the location and property condition.

The new appraisal just doesn’t make sense, especially when compared to the first one.

I have built in the past and I do not understand how anyone can build a house for 250k that will last.As an agent I focus on high end relocation clients and many are positively surprised by the build quality compared to the south.

Projects that may not make sense for some, will make sense for you if rehab cost is at 70%, comparatively.
