@Ricardo Matos yes, i think they are still processing the applications that were in progress, but not accepting new ones. 

The reason I stayed so long is that every time I was about to take some kind of action, they would suddenly show progress.

I noticed that your initial post was from 4 months ago and would love to connect with you to pick your brain about your progress over last few months :)

It hasn't progressed at all.

Its been 9 days since i spoke to him about this, still no progress on taxes.I hired a new firm 2 days after speaking with Matt Bontrager, gave them the same documents that True Books had.

I look forward to engaging with you all, sharing insights, and hopefully contributing to discussions as I progress on my journey. 

@Andrew Giunta I noticed you posted this over a year ago... were you able to make any progress on this? 

.- Most contractors will cut corners, or worse, once they figure out they won't be watched closely:( Your job will also go to the bottom of their priority list.Monitoring progress is relatively easy: hire that same inspector to go by weekly or before any payments to take a VIDEO of:1) What was done2) Quality of workmanshipOne other thing you didn't ask about, payments to contractors.- They all want 50% down or as much as they can squeeze out of you. 

No follow through and constantly lies about progress on your home.
