I overlapped 1 year between this and my job and the second I replaced my income I had to quit. 

The more you overlap, the greater the potential is for drama.

I think I'll join both, even though some of their membership overlaps.

I think we have a lot of overlap here, as I was overseas for an extended period of time, and am now self employed.

But remember that contracts can overlap in any way.  

Anything below that WILL fail, because the water will back up under the overlapping shingles.  2/12 is minimum, 4/12 and above should be considered normal.  

@Mike Catalfamo: It sounds like we have some overlapping interests.

Also, if you are laying vinyl in a large area I would recommend using vinyl planks that have a "locking" edge or at-least an overlapping edge to help keep them from shifting or drifting.
