I didn't do an exhaustive search, so this location is just an example.I'm considering either Reno or Las Vegas, but Las Vegas looks like a better location for this, since it has more direct flights to other international airports, and has more visitors to generate STR income.

While other countries in the area are much easier to get to because they are closer and have invested billions of dollars promoting their tourism industry with great success, bringing direct ever more direct flights and massive investments to their country, Panama, although wealthier, has never cared to do that.

There are many CA investors that invest in places like Sacramento, or a bit farther like around Reno, NV because it's close, the cost of properties is lower and only a few hours flight or drive.

Hi,I travel a lot and I need a bedroom to use every now and then in Nevada, and I'm considering Las Vegas because it has decent international flight connectivity.

At this point you probably have to get the nearest flight and fly over if you do not have someone you contract in the area to check things out for you. 

I live in Montana and geographically, it seems like one of the only options for investing that is within one flight away from Montana.
