You can do whatever you want in terms of bending for the tenants and trying to provide "great service,' but the truth is you receive no credit for it and will be the evil landlord at the first repair that takes too long, late fee owed, alternation denied, etc.  

When you put that in terms of a percentage of your net profit - that is 40% of your net profit going to the PM.

I just do not want to take this possibility off the table if it could help us really get moving in terms of number of doors we have rented out (a 2/3/4 door rental is an exponential increase in our cash flow, compared to the single family home we are planning to buy first). 

And in terms of appreciation, according to Zillow data over a 8 year span, its been about the same for almost every market.  

When you have no source of income, you need to be lean in terms of expenses because you don't know when the next paycheck is going to show up.  

But in terms of a new home builder wanting to buy 109 acres in that location - I just don't see that being very likely (IMHO). 

Both India and China are both growing economically and in terms of people, China is kind of flat.-  This is a product which is easily raised, harvested and milled in Belize. 

In general, south of the river has more going on in terms of arts, culture, and weekend activities.

In terms of the owner buying the materials, I personally wouldn't recommend it unless the owner really knows what he or she is doing.

And you still get the same benefits in terms of tax benefits (depreciation is a beautiful thing), rental profits, principal paydown and appreciation.
