any way over a week is to long.Tell them the brother either applies and qualifies or he needs to go.Post parking lot unauthorized cars towed.. owners expense..Usually works, they get the point.. if it continues give him a lease infraction notice,, and then file for unauthorized person in the apartment.. last resort

I know i should have stated that this infraction breaks their lease agreement, but I let it slide (the house didn't smell of cats and they were keeping the house pretty clean/neat.)Next infraction - this is part of their call yesterday, they had some trouble w/ the other set of the couple's parent's where the parents had to leave their rental due to their landlord selling the house.

In retrospect i shouldn't have gone to this meeting without a lawyer.They have assessed $4k of infractions and an additional 10K in legal fees to have a lawyer mediate on their behalf.This is the most absurd fine Ive ever gotten.

IDK, everybody is trying today; even the smallest inconvenience or perceived infraction on one's own sensibilities is met with a reaction that borders on violence--totally inappropriate over-the-top reaction.Make sure each tenant keeps a log of the other's 'personal infractions'.
