My main focus is residential real estate by helping families sell their current home, buy a new home, all without having to rent in between or end up homeless!  

I also own BetterResidence, SelectShelter and SunnyShelter (all .com) but when polling friends, many replied both had immediate negative connotation (they thought of homeless and animal shelters) and I fear I will forever be asked if it's betterresidence or betterresidents.

Background: I got into real estate after finding myself homeless having been laid off of my job at a religious organization serving people, (I left my corporate career to do so and made less than $9,000 per year). 

Having a paid of mortgage, although a bad business decision has zero bearing on whether you want to operate the home as a rental or as free housing for the homeless.  

'I've been exposed to asbestos the works and these bastards had the audacity to conspire against me to have me evicted and I became homeless for 4 months. 

Not just for profit, although it is a great incentive, but to also battle the homelessness epidemic we have on our beautiful island.

If they continue down their current path they will end up homeless and their credit will be destroyed for years.

Meanwhile I am camping out in the house; but since the law specifies the redemption notice to the sheriff has to be filed no more than 30 days in advance, or no less than 2 days in advance, I cannot figure out how much warning I will have that I have lost the house and have to be out on the street (another rich homeless person, how weird!).
