Hiding it somewhat was that it ebbed and flowed with the fortunes of the auto industry.  

Yes, I am fortunate that a lot of the properties are 3.75% or lower, but I do have 4 above that, and all with mortgages under $140 K.

I had this happen to me once, but fortunately the LP backed out early enough for us to pivot and raise all the equity from our HNW clients. 

Fortunately no one was hurt but it made for an interesting few days. 

I have been doing this for just 6 and I get more leads for free than you get chasing after them paying a fortune.

Fortunately, with my job, I do have people there to discuss it with and learn from, but I am still excited to expand that knowledge base further than my immediate circle.On my personal real estate journey, I am currently under construction on a new-build triplex that I'll be house hacking.

In essence, because of large populations to include many less fortunate, those tough laws are enacted as a shield against grimmy landlords in the first place.
