All calculations suggest great investment for 4 bed 3 bath in good school zone, however once the tax estimator goes from $2200 to $9500 due to lose of tax credit from not being a primary residence it hard to see how to get property in SC.

Putting it all together: If I were starting over and looking for a house-hack in Denver, CO today, I'd be looking for a 4 bed / 3 bath property in the $500K - $600K range in an up and coming area (like Aurora near the medical campus).

Also, many PadSplit properties have bedrooms that are created via flex walls that wouldn't meet the definition of a bedroom in an appraisal, so many PadSplit owners may think their property is worth a certain a mount based on a bed count that's not valid. 

It's a 3 Bed 3 Bath new construction home in which we love the area and think there is going to be a lot of appreciation in the area as it matures.

If you're focused on medical travel folks, smaller 1 or 2 bed properties work fine.

It’s better to have less rooms and to have them large enough to comfortably fit a queen bed.

It's 3 bed 2 full bath and 1,300 sqft.

I also think $1250 is too high for a 2 bed/1 bath in PTown.
