My wife and I own and manage 5 units as MTRs, and while it is certainly doable to manually update calendars across all the platforms (don't get me started on the deficiencies of iCal), we are looking to build a good foundations for future scaling as things are going well. 

On top of that, they can only loggin using Lodgify's PM website at pm.lodgify.com vs the more important app.lodgify.com site that has access to the inbox and calendar.

I can look at the calendar and see exactly what the date will be for each month.

The other way is called the Enemy Method, where you go to Airbnb and Vrbo, look at your direct competitors, and figure out how full their calendars are, at what prices, keep a tally of their income, and make a guess as to their yearly gross.

A few things I do personally for clients is: create a P&L, market to my buyers list, pre-market the property online where the target audience is, and make a plan for bookings and the booking calendar to minimize losses while up for sale and operating simultaneously.
