Mark I really wish I had seen your post before I paid for JN's program.Also high five to:  Anne Barnett Wholesaler from Omaha, NE - replied over 1 year agoI noticed that statue in the background of JN's videos also - I wondered if it was placed there as his "good luck" piece or placed strategically to impress his audience.My experience:  I came across Jerry Norton's RE investing book several years ago but had not bought into any program back then. 

I liked Ron’s 20+ year asset/construction management and investment background.

Hoping to go down one of two paths:1- Buy a condo or small single family home and build equity and create value with my maintenance/construction background.2- Find a cash provider to do this on a larger scale with a 3-5 unit building. 

They e-mail me their background check from the hospital, or I have them complete one through tenantbackgroundcheck.com. 

They pay $35 for credit, background, and eviction checks. 

Verify and double verify with the applicant that the information they have provided is correct and that all income is verified and all adults will have a background check.

@Leeling ChewAbsolutely, you should background check every adult (18 or older) who will reside in the property.

My professional background is data science / analytics, which means analyzing cash flows will probably come more naturally than building relationships, which apparently, is how one finds deals worth making.Are there meetups in these areas I should attend (digitally at first, presumably)? 

Just curious what your background and experience is in this field.
