I was approached by Avantstay and wondered if anyone in this forum has had experience with them from owner point of view. 

I have to think the stock market would beat this type of investment from a investors point of view. 

In my view, regular home insurance is really no different, and adding the Aircover makes it better than any insurance I have seen.I see that STR insurance can benefit people who can’t utilize Aircover though.

I am not familiar with Avail and whether a LL can view credit history.

The term Certified Broker is intentionally deceptive in my view. 

well if I ever make it to the Smokies to see what the draw is  I will rent a condo then :)  I am just guess but I suspect folks that go there want to be in the woods and hear the birds and maybe some local mtn views etc.. or some sort of privacy they never get at home out east were there is not very much public lands close to where they live in the big city. ????

The IRS views this as a related-party transaction, and deductions like rent paid to yourself wouldn’t qualify.

And the changes, such as regulation, city development, traffic flow, building views etc happen very quickly. 

I know there are services that provide proof of funds but I view that as misrepresentation. 

Once you have a market chosen I'd connect with a realtor/wholesalers in that market through BP or Facebook groups to get a first hand view from them on how their market is performing.
