In my market at least, a buyer is such a precious thing, you want to nurture the buyer, caress the buyer if you will...

I think the market is relatively stable and you'll get your growth organically by increasing the rent, lowering the expense and forced apreciation.

Economic growth or decline at a local level cares little about international currency trading levels.More important, I think, is that somewhere down the road we need to see a return to the correlation, at least on a national level, of inflation to real estate apreciation that went out of whack early in the last decade.IMO, real estate values will remain location, location, location.

For instance Anacostia has been the highest apreciating neighborhood for the last 5 years, but rents have not risen as much there.

Assuming the money is used to benefit the country with things like infrastructural spending and responsible civic projects.Buying and holding physical shares of a precious metal does not add value.
