Sometimes it's easier to get rid of herp*s than to sell a house in Spain (sorry for the metaphor).It should also be borne in mind that buy to let business in EU is on the decline, unless you are prepared to invest in Russian South, which is, perhaps, the safest and fastest growing location in Europe :-)Finally, look for a reliable international property broker (online auction platform).

@Steve Babiak Here in Oregon there are a lot of Russian builders.. and during the GFC and foreclosure mess.. when banks would get one of their homes back. it was generally stripped to the studs .. on the interior.

I know some Russians that will lend me money cheaper than that and I'll keep the spread lol.To the original post - find a realistic partner under the terms that the others posted here or get a hard money lender for a year at 15% or less... it will be way cheaper than what Aaron is proposing.
