An inspector doesn't guarantee you a successful rehab.  

This includes hiring an inspector to check for structural problems, arranging for a pest inspection, and getting a professional appraisal to ensure the property's value matches the bank's asking price.

You can see where an over worked, doesn't care, inspector taking 3 weeks to look at basically nothing,  costs serious cash. 

Is it the inspector?

Selling additional packages like birthday packages, romantic packages, smores and pizza kits, etc at a 50% revenue point for you (let your cleaners or inspector facilitate it)7.

While it can be time consuming and pricier due to the fine tooth comb the section 8 inspectors go through the home, at the end of the day you’ve put your property in impeccable state to begin with.

If the window will not stay in the open position, an inspector, who checks that specific window, will fail it and require repair in most jurisdictions.
