Could help you save some serious $$ if buying and selling there and can also get you access to their MLS systems.

Consider sourcing a local REI group for that info.I recommend evaluating your local area first since that is what you are most familiar with and most accessible.

From what I understand, they knew you had some asset of value and this scheme allowed them to access. 

Might be a little bit down the road for me, but that is for sure dream that will come true...One Chicago's best features is the lake, which I'd like more access to.

Yep, off water, but with nearby water access and view seems to be the same ROI considering the cost of the property.
