Yes, the meetings are to give some superficial knowledge and then promote the organizer's own program or seminar for only $99 if you sign up right now.

However, it took me all year to get this one deal so I do not want to ease up on the leads/deals/offers so I can hopefully have something else lined up right after this deal is done.

You can learn a lot by reading books such as It’s a Whole New Business by Gene Trowbridge, the three books Dave Lindahl wrote, the books by Frank Gallinelli, or best yet, reading up right here on BP.There are hundreds of forum threads and blog articles on this site that discuss multifamily and syndication.
