man I feel your painthe hoa is a group of folks that are looking out for there best interestsif you got a buddy that has a lawyer buddy you might have a chance- you know, write a letter with a letterhead you don't want his services because a lawyer cant help you but maybe a letterhead letter mayanother avenue to take is find out when there meetings are and show up with all your documentation from them not helping you out to be a better neighbor and bring improvements to the neighborhood plus the clarity that some areas they are forcing on you are actually the responsibility of the HOA not the home ownerdon't fight with them be there best friend- sounds crazy but you will get further faster if you have tea and discuss the disagreements with them then throwing mud pies at each othersoon this will all be history and youll be moving onto another property so meantime get your work done over tea with the HOAenjoy

It's not as though the whole area is bad, I'm literally across the street from an undesirable couple of multi families meanwhile there are 500K homes around the corner, literally 60 yards away.
