Anyway, the problem is, we just got a public safety violation notice because the tenant left a whole bunch of stuff on their driveway, and it has been there for a while (a few weeks).

On June 30, 2021 (1 day after this law was enacted), a landlord may not terminate or refuse to renew a lease unless:The tenant seriously endangers the safety of others.The tenant significantly damages property.

Our safety net was our investments which we did not want to dip into.I ended up having to apply to multiple institutions for lending and although it’s been tricky, five months later, we were finally able to access capital.  

Call the city building department and/or health and safety department.
