if you do not make your payments then you will merely wake up one day without a property or any equity even in all that nice rehab work.Once again I have not dealt with the lender mentioned, but as ever - Caveat Emptor!

@Mike SteffenYou don't need to be a partner in his company to trigger a 1065 obligation.The mere agreement to share profits of a venture might rise to the level of a general partnership and trigger the 1065 obligation.
