Online marketing can be good, and you can always try some of the old school methods like neighborhood flyers, local newspaper ads, etc.

I'm trying to obtain a spreadsheet or list of trustees sales @ auction and when calling these companies they state the only way to find sales in my area is to read the newspaper.

I feel like going out and just plastering web boards and local newspapers (or even PPC and direct mail) might be effective in the short run, but what does it say about my business in the long run?  

HEYI'm getting out of the air force and moving back to Miami in November....I have been wholesaling in Pensacola for some time and I'm pretty sure the market in Miami is completely different.I'm just wondering if bandit signs and newspaper ads are effective in Miami for finding sellers.......or are yellow letters better?

I would also try ByOwner.com, Fizber.com and check out local newspaper ads which is a traditional marketing approach that hasn't changed for FSBOs...

I used to use the Newspaper for deals...I know I am old but I am young at heart. 

I know the obvious such as the Newspapers and Craigslist but is there a lost for for closure houses in your area?

In our lease is states that if you default and don't return our certified letters, calls and news paper adds the contents become ours to do with as we please. 

Well the $400 Aug payment was all we got until they moved out Oct 1 and we just got it leased for Dec 1 after I insisted on putting an ad online because the newspaper and sign in front was not working.  

This is not exactly brokering because the list is being sold, just like a newspaper is sold to a tenant prospect with a list of the newspaper's published rental ads.Brokering occurs when a fee is collected (only) for matching up the tenant with the landlord.
