There are 2 small bedrooms, side by side, and I was wondering if it was possible to mount a second air handler on the common wall that passed through the wall, sit half of the air handler was in each room, rather than running 2 oversized handlers to each room.  

If you don't then what people usually do is go work for a hotel company or development company in the real estate section and learn the process that way.New development you can lose your shirt pretty quickly and the costs can mount up.

Hi Derek,If the stove moves at all, it might be the metal flex pipe that feed gas to the stove in the back.Also maybe there is a gas pressure regulator on the house inlet feed that is malfunctioning.If it were me and I smelled gas (and it wasn't immediately obvious where it was coming from),  I would evacuated the house and call the gas company immediately to come find it right then.For tenant safety Home Depot sells "combination Carbon Monoxide and Natural Gas Alarms" that mount on the wall.Good Luck!

We ended up doing a new kitchen, bathroom, flooring, paint, repairs to any mechanical's, lights, appliances, etc.After finishing the home inspection there were a few extra things that were brought to our attention like the furnace leaking a little, vent pipe to the furnace rusting from now being mounted correctly.

I'm very excited to share that I should be closing on a quad located in West Mount Airy close to Germantown in early May. 

Heat pumps also function as A/C in hot weather, so in the summers your tenants wouldn't have to use those ugly window-mount A/C units (can be dangerous if not properly secured, can also be a break-in risk).Those ductless units are pretty nice, too, and fairly low-maintenance as far as I know.
