Where we live many houses built up until the 80's have foundation issues due to the clay they were built upon.If we are looking at a house that has foundation issues we will always get a couple of foundation repair contractors to look at the house and give there input on the extent and price of repairs.

This allows me to keep a virtual catalog online of both long-range and short-term action items no matter which device I'm using (phone, tablet, laptop, etc) at any location and anytime of the day.

I started to remember that when we had snaked the line the first time the plumbers told me they were pulling out clay, but eventually got it to work.

If its cracked and broken clay tile, no fix other than replacement.

@Elizabeth Njuguna everything in KC built before 80s and 90s was either cast iron, clay, some combination of those, or on a rare occasion Orangeburg, which they stopped using in the 40s.

They were more than willing to take my money on a monthly basis, but wouldn’t answer repair calls from my tenants, took weeks to respond to me, and took the photos of the properties on terrible tablets.
