Any suggestions or tips on how I could be successful on my first attempt?

Apparently thinking past the tip of her nose was not her strong suit, as I had to explain to her I would find out what was really going on when I came down there.

This is same question why in US we have culture of tipping when other country do not , also why in Us there are just so many added layer fee for attorney , legal and sort of.To be quick , higher commission in US happened because American way of doing business is not efficient, there are layers for law, legal and attorney fee.

Please advise and give any tips to get a good deal.

@Tip MallickI think there is an international forum but not that many people invest internationally here and probably even less in Thailand anyway.It depends on your objectives (we all have different ones) but didn't you already answer your own question?
