While we do have in our contract that 1 pet under 25 lbs is allowed, we are concerned about cats on our property, as when they urinate in hidden corners, it may not be visible right away but could stink up the house later, requiring extensive restorations. 

If you're on AirBNB and there is no agreement/arrangement, keep in mind whatever decision you make may affect your rating.Also be proactive, perhaps seeing if you can gather more detailed info on the power restoration timing.

The other is a restoration company, this company is young and our model, for now, is to be the turnkey solution to the big guys in the industry who already have the relationships established, ride their coattails and catch as much of the change falling out of their pockets as possible until our brand is known a little better.

When I found the water meter locked I contacted the government owned utility and explained the tenant, who had contracted for the service, had left and the utility immediately had the lock removed and restored the service.I don't know the laws regarding utility liens in SC well enough to comment on their right to a lien, but I've always found it's worth a call to first to find out the statutory basis for a claimed lien and if I agree with their right to a lien to try and negotiate a reduction in the amount demanded.
