Being new to the real estate world would you recommend for someone to start with an investment that is a plane ride away rather than just a car ride?

Hey Raza,I am in brooklyn and planing on setting up my own OZ.

A lot of people cold call, not a lot of people pick up, get on a plane and travel to the market to meet in person with people.

I have a bit of unique situation, I fly planes up in rural Alaska for 1/2 the month and have travel benefits that can get me 'home' wherever that happens to be.

My goal is to try and live 1,000 years worth of happy memories into hopefully at least the 100 years or more I have on this Earth and plane of existence. 

@Ashley Rose got through about 75 pages of the BRRRR book and then left it on a plane!!!!!

. $30,000 per unit was the estimate I got from the contractor.I was planing to keep it as a rental property.

Maybe not 80% with a financial plane though, that could work wonders.

After a year of listening to BP, reading books, talking to professionals and amateurs, after hopping on a plane to KCMO and surveying different neighborhoods...I finally signed a contract on my first SFH property in Raytown, Mo!

So, am I missing something, you guys doing something to make it work, or just plane and simple-it's NOT a keeper..?
