(Not everyone qualifies for the 401k)There's much misconception regarding the role of custodians and administrators, as well as the extent to which they should be relied on for advisory services.There are many excellent companies, but as the number of custodians/administrators has swelled it has become increasingly difficult to navigate the space.

However if you were ever sued, any decent lawyer will be able to navigate through it all.

Lifestyle's unlimited is a REI group based in Houston and they provide an excellent means to navigate the SFR buy and hold through 600+ unit apartment complexes. 

Make sure you have a good commercial attorney to help navigate these smaller type deals.

But like the civilian world, there is always that one guy.The trick would be navigating 'proper channels' to get to this guys CO.
