I can buy a top freezer model new one for 500-600 on sale at home depot, so I would not split the used model they are eyeing as that is a bad price for a used fridge.

First thing first, you will have to determine if the price is reasonable to FLIP or try to do an Air bnb model for high cash flow.

The thing is, there are enough bad reviews on any brand or model, it's hard not to be scared off even a top tier brand.
