Feel free to get as detailed as you want, I think this is where the real gems sometimes come out ('Don't even consider looking south of Stassney street','UCFU always gets the best rates', 'Check out that little pocket in South Lamar on the east side', 'Go to the tax auction early and chat people up a bit').

Not really sure why, but it is one of those hidden expenses that can drastically effect the performance of your properties.You are smart to be keeping a close eye on it every year.

The master bath is one of the top rooms people look at when buying (for very good reason) so I wanted the tile detail in the shower to stand out, not be hidden in the back room.From a functionality standpoint, I don't know if I would prefer one over the other.

This rehab has taken much longer than we anticipated do to all the inspections that need to be done and the hidden issues that we did not know about until we starting tearing into it. 

Could be a couple reasons...The property has some hidden problem.

: less chance of repairs in the first few years, less chance of buying something with hidden repairs, modern= more attractive to tenants.

Try a company called ilovescottsdale.comThey are responsive and have flat STR fees with no hidden surprise fees.

I am looking for advice on how to check to make sure the property does not have any hidden costs that I may not be aware of (liens, unpaid property tax, etc.) that would be my responsibility if I purchase it?
