I'd say he ran into trouble from poor spending habits and a scam that cost him any savings he might have had. 

I think the landlord is being more than fair here, by rehoming them in another unit so proper repairs can be made when them out of harm's way.  

Some items to check include: electrical, gas plumbing, heating and air conditioning, floor, roof and anything to make the mobile home habitable and functional.Once the home is ready to move in, then you can start to market the mobile home.

Account Closed I prefer to not share pictures but I happy to discuss :) The property is worn down a bit (paint on trim needed to be scraped off and redone, broken fence in yard, minor things inside the units, etc.) but habitable. 

@Jordan PrattMy recommendation would be to crush one thing at a time.I have a nasty habit (and my wife can attest to this) of getting so excited about so many things and trying to do all of them at once.

This is due to the unique intrinsic properties of human habitation tied to human multiplication.

Who do you think is going to get sued if you let a murderer or child molester rent from you and they harm a neighbor?

I don't mean this is a harmful way, I mean this in a financial advise way.  

@Tsoi Anisoquilli You don’t mention what state this is in, but even in states that allow “repair and deduct” it’s almost always limited to repairs that are necessary to keep the home in a habitable condition and that the landlord is refusing or failing to make.

I am in the process of pursuing legal action against this contractor and plan to ban together with as many of the other subcontractors and investors who he has harmed in this way as well.
