Either way that situation pretty much defeats the point of buying at auction, might as well just keep the $100k in the bank and save the stress if they will just take my profit.

The fact that they will BID on behalf of the bank until the reserve is meet kind of defeats the bennifit of an auction in my opinion.

I think you defeat the purpose of banking local to where you're investing if you do so with a national lender like Wells Fargo.
