People who like hardwood but are looking for a more bullet proof product love this material.If your basement floor is a concrete slab with control joints that will be layed over, I highly recommend looking into an anti fracture membrane to counter act the possibility of horizontal movements in the slabs at the joints, if there is any signs of vertical movement at the joints I would avoid any tile installations no matter what the product is.

@Alex Cardenas like others have stated, you can use pigtails to correct the possible oxidation fire issue, but that house will likely sit for a long time.

Even though San Diego has not successfully passed any significant anti-growth initiative the real estate is very constrained (limited supply):- To the North Camp Pendleton constrains.- To the South Mexico constrains.- To the West the ocean constrains (poor us :=).- To the East the harsh climate constrains (good luck living in Anza Borrego through a summer)The supply will always be constrained.
