Hi yall,I am a college student studying civil engineering, I have a job lined up for after school but I still have one more year of school after this year.I am thinking why not but a 4 bedroom house and live in it next year and get a 3.5% FHA loan.

A lot of people rent to college students and they seem to do well with co-signers because the parents are usually footing the bill anyway.

It's in prime location right next to the local college. 

College would be smart too.

I intend to move out-of-state towards a warmer climate for college in order to have less weather-related maintenance on my properties.

Why did you travel across the entire U.S. to go to college? 

The state does have the power to claim eminent domain regarding the expansion of a college so long as the owner is compensated fairly based on market value. 

Hey BP community,I know that the 203K FHA loan has been recommended several times for those that are just starting out with their first home (and possibly for those that are still in college and don't have the employment track record that they look for when qualifying) but I just wanted to know if there were any other loans out there that are comparable to this loan and what the differences would be.

Many college towns, including mine, do not allow more than 3 number of unrelated persons to live together.
