In my initial research, I'm finding a pretty big disconnect with the deals that Michael implies in the book and what is actually out there. 

No amount of YT or self-work books can get anyone to our level.

That, a few podcasts, a few select books, and a couple of subscriptions choke full of info material (less than 100$/month), maybe a couple mentorship programs (for less than 2K/year), and a lot of action on your part and you'll be a lot better than paying $$K for "gurus".To rephrase, do you have more money than you know what to do with or an urgent need to get it to work for you, together with a lot of time on your hands ready to take massive action?

I've spent the last couple months reading tons about REI (including Brandon Turner's books) and have found it all fascinating.

Will I have the option to not extend their stay if I have already confirmed a different booking at the end of their existing stay?

But instead of paying VRBO I think 8% for each booking, you only pay 3% per booking.  

Poconos Farms I find out is $135 now plus $75 if you book with 3 day notice.

Running a business like that takes marketing efforts, networking, direct booking functionality, and so much more.
