One unit is occupied by an elderly woman who has been in the unit for 8 years, her son and niece live in another unit and have been there for 2 years.

This woman was (is) a very successful agent, has been working here for over 20 years in residential and some commercial, has a brokers license, did some residential investing, worked as a general contractor for several years, then back into residential RE agent.One day she showed me a house filled with stuff.

The woman at the desk said, "Oh, the 48 hours starts when you get the package from us by email...and we're backed up a couple days."

He tells me that she has eviction on her credit and noone will rent them anything. he starts crying in front of me and tells me that he, his son, the woman and her kid will end up on the street when the home becomes mine.so, she is a traveling nurse. i dont think he has a job (but has a kick *** garden in the back yard :roll: ). i asked how much they are currently paying. he said "she deals with the bills".I know they are "supposed to be paying $900".

As to the definition of "rich," I like Tom Jefferson's:"A man's (or woman's) wealth is measured by those things he (she) leaves undone."

Some of you are probably wondering why I emphasized "woman"... if you would've gone through the hell I have gone through in the past few months, you might understand.

While he obviously didn't do things right, clearly the scumbag tenant was living like a pig (roach infestation) and I'd bet $50 that the woman wasn't paying her rent.

I can guarantee you one thing, this woman and her deadbeat son do NOT want jobs!

The woman has a young son from a previous marriage.
