We do tend to get at least one tropical storm each year which sometimes leads to flooding in parts of North Myrtle Beach (Cherry Grove) and to the south in Garden City Beach. 

Curtains are okay, but they tend to offer less protection depending on the tub design.

A few of us tend to correct any misstatements that people post, so those should be good advice to follow.
