It's difficult not to think about what technology has done to the residential industry.   

I plan on managing it myself, remotely and doing some updating to make the cabin more modern. 

Utilizing some of the technological resources out there (shared calendars, project status updates, clear email chains) to keep all team members on the same page for this project has been key.

One concern is this:  No other owners in Old Louisville have modern, trendy, updated units so theres no proof of concept.  

We have to install on all our permitted renovations, and have had zero issues with bathroom moisture since using them.Not sure how that'd work in a whole house situation, but something to consider if you decide to seek a technological solution.Good luck!

There are plenty of reasons for things to not work out.Agree you should meet the applicant first, but think you could meet them and they could see the house via Facetime or other technology. 

Technology advancements such as email, phone calls, skype has enabled communication with a remote CPA to be seamless.

This house is plaster as opposed to drywall used in modern construction.The carpenter would nail the slats to the studs and then apply plaster.
