Perfectly good appliances with minor imperfections...but if you really don't want to spring for the initial cost of buying new, you could wright in the lease that the fridge is not the owners property...

I closed on a 24 unit apartment in Nov, and post close found a handful of small issues like this (leaky fridge, missing sheetrock in closet, etc.) that I just had to eat.2) Did you get the property professionally inspected prior to closing?

We leave something sweet in the fridge, we check on them after arrival, we let them know if they can arrive early after cleaners finish up, we leave them a review and contact them to say we left them a 5 star review and would appreciate if they could do the same for us.We are near 100% of people that leave a review.

On Airbnb, if they break stuff, you usually get a bad review if you try to charge them, especially for petty stuff that would be a reasonable apartment charge like a broken fridge door shelf for $60 or stained sheets/towels or stolen power strips.
