It was great to be able to hear directly from our customer and understand her point of view.  

Both of our banks we are preferred customers.

Typically it involves just stuffing insulation everywhere but it can involve - depending on budget and customer goals - other features such as eco friendly siding and eco friendly insulation (we used recycled blue jeans one time).If the house has been deemed historical by the City and you have to work with an Historical Committee, then you will have your hands full.

I think the thing to remember is that housing rentals are a customer service business and sometimes you’ll have to spend more time with one building than another.

I would like to eliminate the customer from my work though.

I am a realtor that does all the conventional real estate stuff - with excellent customer service, of course. 

In the markets where it's down, it comes down to whether your property fits what the ideal customer is looking for from a lot size, home size, amenities, and price.
