From my experience, you don’t need to engage a CPA just yet.

I recently got engaged and my fiance's family own a few real estate properties that they are renting out (majority are condos in Columbia, SC and 1 in Florida).

I see FF to be very mixed on bookings compared to actively getting them.

As a note, I am active duty military, scheduled to deploy sometime next year, and I have plans to rent out the unit I am staying in once that time comes around.

I have been wondering this as well.So many insurance companies have substantially increased their rates or quit insuring in FL altogether.The increased Hurricane activity is just going to make this worse.My next STR was going to be a beach house, but I am rethinking that. 

We renovated most of the house over the last 6 months and just made it active on Airbnb April 2024.

A "good lender" doesn't have to do illegal activity to assure a deal will close and an agent has no right to the kind of information that would make identity theft possible.
