This has definitely been a learning moment to grow thick skin, and to trust the process, create a plan, and execute.

I had to water proof a couple of places in Seattle where it can occasionally rain (for weeks at a time ;-) One place was located near a stream.We dug about 3 feet deep around the foundation, we used concrete sealer on the concrete inside and out, placed a thick layer of plastic against the concrete & back filled to about within a foot of the surface and installed a "french drain".

I prefer working class, employed types, if they show up at a ob all day, they are less likely to want to dick with me.I'll make sure the roof doesn't leak, the mechanicals work and the place meets code, but bare white walls,thick urethane floor varnish, and that's about it.

The house had a partial basement.... when I opened the access door to the crawl it was thick with spider webs like something out of the Munsters.

With the cabinet enamel, do not apply it too thick.  

@Steve Babiak , first off, wow I can't believe there is a Waterproof Magazine.Second, yes, the waterproof sheeting was extremely thick.

George, your right, to do well in this business you have to have thick skin.

Her "amazingly-trained dogs" are also over the weight limit, but laid it on thick why I should ignore the weight restriction.
