Hi, I found a good investment property but seller is asking to take over the current financing plan for the solar panels (124$/mon for 25years - already paid 2 years).I'm still researching the pros and cons and wonder if anyone had this situation.

Over the time living at the property we renovated the garage walls and added a sub panel, finished the basement adding a full bathroom, painted the cabinets, added more hardwood flooring to the house (kitchen and 2nd floor), replaced the appliances and fresh paint everywhere.

If the existing service panels is in good shape and is sufficient for one of the units then I'd try to avoid replacing that.

We keep a tight panel of appraisers rather than going through a third party AMC that goes to the lowest bidder, so in those cases I have been able to find landlord listings and the appraiser has been willing to use those comps, but if it's someone with less interest in getting things to work, they might not be willing to use those kind of rental comps.
