this is simply MLM brought to real estate same theories and tug at same heartstrings.. instead of loading up on soap or wicker baskets they go for the big dollar plays.

@Eric La Pratt was nice enough to invite me a few months ago to this PM's anniversary party and I was really impressed with their operation, I thought it was a great efficient setup and they had built technology to adjust the nightly rate based on hotel bookings and events going on in Chicago.  

For example A cabinet door that will not stay shut and I run into it every time I walk into the kitchen, or water pressure that is so low I can’t get all the soap and conditioner out of my thick hair or windows that let cold air come in and make me really uncomfortable and drive my heating bill up .

So my coffee station is supplied with a crystal sugar bowl, my soap dishes are lead crystal, my mis-matched wine glasses are awesome, a  crystal dish holds popurri in the bedroom.   

Another thing we did to help systematize was to set up automatic Amazon deliveries once every three months with everything we need to resupply our STRs (TP, paper towels, K-cups, air fresheners, soap, shampoo, ect..).

What I do now and just did last week on my 4 unit is take a little dawn soap (emulsifying agent) and warm water and scrub the wall first (see picture).

Also it has been very easy for me to request rent increases on the anniversary of the lease renewal.
